 Invitation to bid for Construction of a Perimeter Wall and Access Road on the NMS New Warehouse Land in Kajjansi under admeasurement contract: Tender Ref: NMS/WRKS/14-15/00033

1. The National Medical stores has allocated/received funds to be used for the acquisition and construction of a perimeter wall and access road on the NMS New Warehouse Land in Kajjansi.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8.30am-4.30pm from Mondays to Fridays.
5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 300,000 (three hundred thousand only). The method of payment will be by Cash to the National Medical Stores Cashier at the address in 8(a) below. The date for the pre-bid meeting shall be 21^st January 2015 at 12.00 noon after site visit at Kajjansi at 10.00am
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 11.00am on 9^th February 2015. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total contract price in Uganda Shillings or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The bid security must be valid until 29^th July 2015. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 11.00am on 9^th February 2015
7. There shall be a site visit and pre-bid meeting on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
