- The National Medical Stores has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Supply of Used Shipping Containers.
- The Entity invites your sealed bid for the provision of Supply of Used Shipping Containers.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.
- You may obtain further information from the General Manager of National Medical Stores and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 09:00Am to 04:00Pm.
5. Bidding documents in English may be purchased on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 300,000(Uganda shillings: Three hundred thousand only. The method of payment will be cash at NMS Cash office
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 31st March, 2015. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of an amount equal to UGX:2,600,000 (Uganda Shillings: Two million six hundred only) or any freely convertible currency; which must be valid for 118 working days counted from the date of bid submission until 31st September 2015. The bid security to be issued shall be in the form of a Bank Guarantee from a reputable financial institution recognized by Bank of Uganda. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 11:30am 31st March, 2015.
