National Medical Stores is an autonomous Corporation that was established by an Act of Parliament in 1993. Our mandate is to procure, store and distribute medicines and other medical supplies to health facilities.

NMS/2023/37: Software Developer Job
Title: Software Developer
Reports to: Senior Program Developer
Job Grade: NMS Grade 06
Job Purpose: To be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support the mission of National Medical Stores.
Responsible for: None
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Design, develop and maintain software applications ii. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new features
- Test and debug software to ensure it meets functional requirements
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing software
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in software development and technologies
- Ensure software applications are developed in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
- Work with industry RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) to design and implement required enterprise solutions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of an Honor’s Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology and Computing, Management Information Systems, Statistics with Computing Option, or Mathematics with Computing Option or any related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years of software development experience
- Demonstrated Experience of any programing project shall be an added advantage
